I don’t even care all that much for the Lords of the Rings brand, which makes the content falling under Shadow of Mordor’s Season Pass a pleasant surprise.

RIP Ralph Baer (1922-2014) I really, really hate writing obits. I really do. But I take it as a personal honor to be able to say good things about the men and women I respect, whether in this industry or just in my life, and Ralph Baer is the reason all of this exists in the first...

What Are You Playing? February 22nd, 2014

This weekend is all about reviews, so I'm gonna get all bulleted list on this b**** one more time. Click each link for a preview of the game I'm talking about reviewing.
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 - Biting, sucking, these are words that could describe many aspects of Dracula's journey, but do they describe the gameplay or the story or the music? You'll have to wait for Tuesday to find out.
  • Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare - Explosive pea pods, zombified third-person shooter controls, butts... who knows how things are going to shake out in our Garden Warfare review. Look for that on Tuesday as well.
  • Thief - Nick Tan has the review for this locked and loaded. I expect it to run on Tuesday, but I have no idea what to expect since I've never played the game or even seen it in action. Thief might be one of those games early in the year that I totally miss and have to go back to later.
  • Other games I have no clue about! What surprises wait for us next week?
