What Are You Playing? July 7th, 2012

No reviews, a Platinum on Gravity Rush. I'm spending the rest of the weekend watching EVO fighting. Maybe I'll drop some dough on Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita so I can play along.

Recovering from your respective independance day? Let us know what you did, what you ate, and how much you drank in the comment below, along with the usual...

I've been "playing" The Witcher for over a year now. At least I'm finally on chapter 3. It's actually one of the best RPG's I've ever played, I just don't have the time. What with more of my focus going toward musical endeavors and ARMA 2 basically being my dream game, I don't have much time for other games. But The Witcher 2 is sitting on my shelf taunting me, so I have to get through this.

    Diablo 3
    TF2
    A lil Homefront
    A smidge of Shogun 2
And some Terraria and Minecraft for seasoning.

D3 and SWToR. Really enjoying ToR right now. Lots of fun with the dungeon finder.

I had some issues with SWTOR at launch but it's looking a LOT better now. I might have to give it a second look soon.

What do you feel is the biggest thing that separates today's SWTOR with launch SWTOR?

    Merged servers finally.

Bunch of ghost towns when I was first playing... not as much fun when you play an MMO (hence the MM)

Agreed. The transfers made a huge difference. That and the dungeon finder. There's tons of content I'm finally getting to because of the group finder. There's also a few nice little touches in there like all of the legacy stuff. Also it's Star Wars =P

Hopefully finishing up The Bourne Conspiracy, and then maybe some Mortal Kombat on PS Vita if I decide to pick that up. If not, Diablo 3 or some Dead Island co-op with a buddy of mine.

On day four of my minivaction. Right now, I'm trying to avoid the 100 degree weather. I just spent a few hours playing Darksiders. It gets better once you unlock enough moves and toys. Takes a while to get there though. The throwing mechanic is pain in the ass with analog sticks, so it made the Tiamat boss fight much harder than it needed to be. Other than that I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Super Talking Time Brothers. If you don't know, look it up. The guy who made Iwannabetheguy even made a couple of the levels.

I also finally played a couple of "races" of my free Midnight Club 2 download that I got thanks to GR telling me about the Steam Rockstar deal.

I live in a small town with a lake where they have fireworks every year. Me and a friend were actually just at the gym working out and heard them start, so we went outside and watched them. And my family grilled chicken, brats, burgers, and veggies. Sides of potato salad and banana pudding.

Playing some Littlebigplanet 2, and Mortal Kombat for 360 just came in the mail so I'll finally check that out. Also played some Halo Reach multiplayer at a friends. And I start a new job Monday so I'm sure my free time is about to disappear.

Going through all of the Uncharteds in order. Finished Golden Abyss and Drakes Fortune, up to the train part of Among Theives. Uncharted 2 is just too perfect, equal best game of the generation with MGS4.
