LATEST FEATURESBeing A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.
MOST POPULAR FEATURES7 Best Video Game Franchises Of All Time
Gaming is home to some incredible IPs. Here you'll find a slightly objective, yet heavily biased, list of the absolute best of the best.
Before Microsoft and Sony do something regarding their future in the video game business, I wanted to write this for a long time now, but other things kept getting in my way, and fearing that tomorrow might be too late, today will have to do.
Months ago, when I heard Dark...
Sorry if I was a little cryptic with the blurb on the front page, but I'll be finishing Persona 3 Portable this weekend. Japan just received Person 4: Golden, a game I am dying to play. October seems so far away!
Still haven't played that game with mods. I have a few save files on 360, one with a completed campaign and another where I just started filling in the map and side questing along the way.
GR's and Destructoid's glowing reviews sealed the deal, but I was already fairly interested in it. It's been a long time since the last good Devil May Cry-style action game. And this is actually my first Suda51 game since Killer7, which I absolutely loathed. I should get No More Heroes HP and Shadows of the Damned sometime. I've been meaning to get them for a good while, but never got around to it.
it was a fun game but for me, it was very forgettable after I breezed through it in 6 hours. if you like the heroine/button mashing/hack-n-slash genre...
I actually hated Bayonetta because I couldn't make out what was happening on screen. I got an HDTV since that time, though, so could try it again. Maybe now I'll be able to tell was the **** is going on.
Bayonetta took me a while to get into. It's extremely fast paced and has the Japanese "wonkyness" to it.
But as soon as you master the timing and the controls (may take 3 hours to fully grasp), you feel comfortable with the pace and you feel like a BOSS alternating between swords and firearms (akin to DmC)
They removed the cutscenes from P3P (I don't know if they removed all of them). Not only the anime cutscenes, though. They also removed the in-game ones. For me, this is a serious letdown.
The game's not like TF2 much. The artstyle's similar, but the gameplay's way different. Higher health, bigger emphasis on killing bots, it's way more MOBA like. I'm still a complete newb, but I'm getting better at it as time goes on. If only the population of gamers on it would increase a bit...
I got it on ps3, my acid-tripped friends were happy just to sit there and watch because it's so fast. Maybe most people won't enjoy it like i do, but i was a Sonic fan nearly a decade ago on the Sega Megadrive (or genesis) so maybe i'm just a fanboy who likes the graphics upgrade
What I played was certainly entertaining, but I never got my hands on the full game out of fear that a full playthrough would kill the enjoyment I did get from a few levels.
Beat Gears of War 3 this week and started Rage today. Rage definitely made a good first impression, hopefully the negative aspects everyone talks about (the repetition and bad ending) don't ruin the experience.

Portable also streamlines certain ways of moving from place to place ... which is a good thing
