After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

What Are You Playing? June 29th, 2013

Even if you're not a 3DS owner, you can't deny the handheld system's appeal and the wealth of incredible software availble for gaming-on-the-go. Glasses-free 3D is so 2011, now it's all about exclusive games, both from Nintendo and third parties.

Take Shin Megami Tensei IV for example. I can't tell you why it's fucking amaze-balls just yet, but it is, and it's only available on 3DS (in about two weeks). Nick and I have been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf lightly, but I'm eager to try more of the multiplayer features as Nick's town grows up with my own.

And Fire Emblem: Awakening. Always with the Fire Emblem. This Lunatic difficulty run I'm on will be the death of me, but it's so satisfying when you finally clear a difficult battle without losing anyone. I've got a PS3 with NCAA Football 14 as well, but the 3DS has more than enough amazing content for my weekend.

What are you playing?
