It didn't take long for me to nab a PSN card and download Persona 3 Portable on my PlayStation Vita after I heard about the Atlus sale they have going on now. I don't know how much longer it'll last, but you should probably check it out now before it's too late.
In addition to P3P, I'll be playing Kid Icarus: Uprising and a hearty dose of World of Tanks so GameRevolution's review on the highly publicized free-to-play game can go live next week. Oh, and Riiiiidddge RACER! Unbounded... the game... might show up this weekend, but...
I've been working my way through Uncharted 3 (finally) and once that's done I'll run through GOW3 (finally). Sadly there isn't really another game coming out that I'm looking forward to until Assassin's Creed 3.
I FINALLY found a PS3 version of the Orange Box, so I'm getting some Half-Life 2 action. Might play through Portal tonight as well. I also caved in and bought that damn Silent Hill HD Collection. New voices are generally good, but Troy Baker just doesn't work as James. Such a vulnerable character with Snow's voice doesn't make any sense. And that fog looks horrendous. A bunch of white squares floating on a gray background. Still, it's nice to play that game with my big-ass PS3 headphones and not my wimpy TV speakers.
Like I said, they completely ****ed up the fog effects in SH2. There are a few performance hiccups, especially when you're outside, and sound sync is waaayy off in cutscenes, but I just finished SH2 and had no freezes, crashes or anything truly game breaking. I haven't tried SH3 yet, though
I'm playing work for 20 hours. If I find time, likely some more BG1. Almost done with the main quest then off to the exp pack! BG2+exp to follow. I also just got Icewind Dale 1 and 2. Should keep me busy until I get Neverwinter nights 1 and 2. I wish I knew about these games 10 years ago.
I went to gamestop and traded in some games since they are having their deal. Picked up Kid Icarus and Skyward Sword so I'll be playing those and TOR. Almost lvl 50 finally!
I hit lvl 50 tonight now I'm not really sure what to do next lol. Not wanting to get into raiding scene really. DId that back in WoW:BC and it ate up way to much of my time.
Mass Effect 3. Pulled myself away from multiplayer long enough to finally finish singleplayer today. I was completely satisfied with the ending I chose/got, but after watching some of the other ones on youtube I can see where some people, depending on how they played their campaigns, could be a bit miffed. I'm really curious to see what Bioware does for the added endling dlc now though.
Playing my way through Shoot Many Robots, Ratchet & Clank: tools of Destruction, and Saints Row 2 whilst on my ass after having my wisdom teeth out. Awesome...
It's pretty sweet, very addictive. The controls get a little frustrating sometimes, it would've been a better idea to go with a dual stick control scheme, but it's still a wicked game, you should totally check it out.
Mass Effect 1 is FANTASTIC. It has aged better than I could have imagined. Just finished a playthrough about a month ago. Let me know what you think when you're done and what you think of ME2 following that.
Rage. i actually really like it. feels like FAllout 3 mixed with Bioshock with sick cars and the tiniest bit of RDR chucked in it. i dont mind not being able to skip dialogue, it makes it feel more real. sure, some characters are a bit cheesy and i haven't gotten to a point where i fail a mission and have to keep re-engaging in conversation with the same npc yet.... but yeah. glad i bought it. it was only $40 AUD too.
RE:ORC - It is kind of addicting. Its a blast when you are in a hard fight and then you get swarmed by zombies, hunters, and lickers. You have to just shoot everything and run.
ME3 Multiplayer to up my Galactic Readiness and getting the urge for more Battelfield 3...once I complete ME3 main story, I'll go back and playthrough 1-3 as a different character.
