Windows 10 Review for Dummies

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

What Are You Playing? May 11th, 2013

Metro: Last Light installed overnight, but I thought the file size was a little small for a final review build. Turns out I needed a super-secret-double-silent-pinky-swear Steam code to unlock the full build. Now that I've installed the game, it's been hard to tear myself away. Revolutionaries aware of the PC's next-gen-you-can-own-now power probably already know, but I just found out that Metro looks damn gorgeous.

I'm readying my portables for travel as well. I'm flying south next week (as is Ninja Nick Tan) for pre-E3 coverage opportunities. Luckily, NIntendo saw fit to equip me with Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, with a review in the green pipe for Friday next week. What's with Donkey Kong returning to the country all over again? It's not like the big ape's got a second summer house there. DKCR3D is a feature-complete port of the Wii game for your 3DS. Check out our hands-on preview here.

Summer might be starting where you live, but be sure to stay indoors and play some games this weekend, then let us know....
