What Are You Playing? May 12th, 2012

Posted on Saturday, May 12 @ 10:00:00 Eastern by

I'm heading out on Monday and Tuesday seeing games ahead of E3, meaning all the surprises will be spoiled for me well ahead of June. It's going to take quite a bit of effort to keep from spilling every last detail between now and then, but I'll do my best to ensure we keep getting invited back to these things.

That said, I'll probably spend my weekend wrapping up my first playthrough of Persona 3 Portable (immediately starting another file) and playing a sh**load of PixelJunk titles from this week's sale. Also I hope Max Payne 3 arrives in time *fingers crossed*.

What are you playing?

Diablo 1. It's been a long time since I last played it and I don't think I ever finished it. Pretty good so far.

Just picked up a bunch of new & used games that I missed out on last year. I got Rayman: Origins, LA Noire, Deus Ex: HR, and Batman: Arkham Asylum. I'm going to start with Batman: AA first so I can have it done it time for the release of Batman: Arkham City GOTY that I just pre-ordered.

Arkham asylum is tons of fun, and yet another rayman sale Ubi's has GR to thank for. You guys are collectively responsible for like 50% of all sales.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition. Bought it some time ago and finally downloaded it Monday and it has taken over my life (not that I had much of a live to begin with). But me happy! :-)

Quick FYI: if you haven't figured it out yet, Dead Money is by far one of the worst expansions in all of gaming. Lonesome Road and Honest Hearts aren't too bad, and Old World Blues is just plain awesome, but Dead Money is god-awful. I played through it for the achievements and immediately uninstalled it as soon as I finished.

Yeah I have to agree... Dead Money pissed me off in so many goddamn ways... It had nothing to do with anything and its entire concept was broken and flawed... glad that it didn't take to long...

I've had KOTOR2 for several years and I've never been able to finish it. I always get stuck on the parts where it forces you to play as one of your party members.

that game called Full Time Bar Work. where i spend 5 nights a week at the bar i work at, whilst spending the time i have off during the day and my days off with my girlfriend, who i live with. too bad she isn't a gamer, otherwise it'd be BF3 or Skyrim.

too bad for her that once Max Payne 3 comes out, she becomes number 2 in my life. for a few days until she starts to yell at me.
