What Are You Playing? May 26th, 2012

Posted on Saturday, May 26 @ 10:00:00 Eastern by

I just received word that a copy of Gravity Rush is on its way. Who knows if it'll be here sooner rather than later. Once it does show up on my doorstep, I'll be playing that. I've also got Max Payne 3 with Used44 scheduled for some time this weekend.

Last night, I went to the theater. No games for me! Hey, enough about me though...

What are you playing?

Related Games:   Gravity Rush, Max Payne 3

Checking out Dragon's Dogma based on GR's recommendation.

Story and graphics are lackluster, but the gameplay is SOLID. I love trading minions with other players online

Just beat MP3 this morning. Solid gameplay and graphics, the story IMO tended to not be as well explained as previous titles and I can honestly say glossing over a certain female from 1 and 2 with two lines wasn't to my liking because since the ending of MP2 (both endings) I have been frantically waiting to find out which was canon... i'm starting to lean towards the NYM ending however as canon. Anyways, now back to some nba 2k12 and Skyrim since I have yet to beat that... eventually I will quit putting off finishing FF13-2.

It is double XP this weekend on Tribes, so that's quad XP for anyone with a booster. Needless to say a lot of time there. Probably some D3, maybe Max Payne 3 and Ghost Recon.

Just got hold of GR FS and it is AWESOME!!! I usually play FPS games (mainly Battlefield) but this is so refreshing and such a nice change to play a shooter with a SP campaign worth caring about. Haven't really touched on the multiplayer modes too much yet, want to finish up the campaign with a decent amount of tactical mission completes first! Honestly cant remember the last time i had this much fun with a new game

Won Fez from a buddy in a heads up poker game (if he won, I bought it, if I won, he bought it) so a bit of that. Still working through Xenoblade Chronicle here and there. I've also gotten back into Halo Reach, my muscle memory has served me well. Can't decide about Dragons Dogma and afraid if I wait too long the online component will be dead (or does it work that way?).

Don't worry about the online component. It isn't direct co-op, you just trade pawns with other players.

Seriously? I put in 20 hours and thought I had at least put a dent in it. And you're on hour 80 to no avail?

Oye vey... might need to give it a rest

Mortal Kombat Vita, replaying the regular Challenge Tower, and finishing the Bonus one, grinding for coins to unlock the Krypt 100%. Haven't gotten around buying Diablo III since my internet connection kind of sucks, so I doubt I would be able to play it well.

Rayman: Origins and L.A. Noire. I'm loving Rayman. It's been added to my short list of games that I would want my children to play (should I ever have any) to learn about video games. I can't stand L.A. Noire. I'd like to shoot it in an alley and then dump its remains in a field (apologies to any fans).

I'm working this weekend, so very little playtime for me. Tuesday, though, I've got the time to get all my parts together for my first ever PC build. I'm slightly nervous, I'm afraid I might screw something up...

Dragon's Dogma - is quite a bit of fun. I am also liking the pawn swaps as well. Mixing in some AC Revelations and Uncharted 3. Fun weekend...but the new ME3 dlc comes out today and I would really like to checkout the cerberus class with the whips. Not saying I would randomly get it today but at least see someone using it.
