What Are You Playing? November 24th, 2012

Been enjoying the Mr. Torgue DLC for Borderlands 2 over the past few days. Dear God is it awesome. Every word that comes out of Torgue's mouth is comedy gold.

I went out in the crowds at 9PM to get a great deal on a PS3. I was able to eat dinner with my family, so "don't be hatin." I went to GameStop and nobody was there! I see all these cars parked and they were all heading to Wal-Mart. Needless to say, because I said it couple times here, I got a new PS3.

Oh, and I'm playing Infamous and checking out DC Universe Online.

Whoa, I haven't seen you playing DCUO! I'm always up for it, just made a new character yesterday. Hopefully you're a hero, villain missions are boring.

I created a hero as well. I called him "Top Assassin", because he's wearing a top hat. Anyways, I was browsing PS Store for free stuff and came across that. We should definitely do it!

What level are you? My lowest lvl character is Lvl 5, VioBullet 2025. You'll see how he got that name...

I had not had much time to play over Thanksgiving due to having family over, and my gaming room kind of became a family gathering room.

I have been playing P4 Golden (such a freaking great game) and have gotten into Hitman Absolution right now. Also got The Hitman Trilogy on PC for free since i had Absolution preorderd from Gamestop.

Borderlands 2 & Halo 4.
Also playing bully scholarship but forgot that game had no auto save and I had to restart all I did -_-

Halo 4 and BL2. Bought 3 copies of Awesomenauts on steam so i'll be playing that soon with friends hopefully. Is it as awesome as the name implies?

Also been watching sherlock and merlin on netflix.

Bought Max Payne 3 at Target on Black Friday, so playing that. I think I will have killed the population of Earth by the time I finish the campaign.

I bought PlayStation All-Stars today, been playing as Raiden nonstop.
This game has surpassed my expectations so far, recommended.

That's good. I was hoping it would turn out good. I got a new PS3 and I don't want to be the only person playing it. I want my friends to play it too, so I bought another controller. Maybe next payday, I get this game and more controllers.

I HATE Steam! They made me buy Dragon Age: Origins-Ultimate Edition and Trorchlight II for 10 bucks each. :-(

Still just playing Halo 4...... yep. Although I did pre-order my Wii U a few days ago, now I just have to hope that the update doesn't turn my console into a vegetable. Also when I play the Wii U on christmas, i will be playing New Super Mario Bros, Assassin's Creed 3 and I still haven't decided if i'm going to get ZombiU, reviews haven't been great.

Playing Forza Horizon, loving it so far, and next week I will be buying CoD: Black Ops 2.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS2). It's the second time I play this game, and while my first time was many years ago this second playthrough still feels like playing some sort of boss rush mode. That is the game's only fault, the world is empty, no sense in exploring it again 'cause I already know I'm not gonna find anything. So the magic of the first time playing it is just not there.
I wish they would do a prequel to this game, one in which this amazing world is populated and where we get to find out why it's now deserted and filled with colossi.
Also playing Pinky and The Brain in The Masterplan.

GW2, Hitman: Absolution, PlanetSide 2, and I'm on the fence about F1 2012. It's on the Steam sale, and I need a PC racing game. 2010 was great

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, the first Borderlands and a little Wipeout HD,

Borderlands, Ratchet and Clank Collection, and Assassin's Creed 3.

Persona 4 Golden, PSASBR, Sine Mora, Jet Set Radio, and all the other PS+ freebies for Vita. Great week to own a Vita.

How is Sine Mora? I'm on the fence about this one.

If you like shumps then it's awesome. I love them. It's a gorgeous game too. It is pretty short but that's par for the course for this genre. It's about replaying and maxing your score. It's well worth the $10 price tag, especially since it's cross-buy.

Gemini Rue, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (The zone keeps calling me back), Ghost Master, and I've trying out some of the new maps in Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. I've tried to play Penumbra: Overture but GOD DAMN that game is scary.

Just finished ACIII (great game, but glitchy, and terrible ending), and I've been motoring through The Walking Dead. This game has emotionally devastated me on multiple occasions, and I can't stop playing it. It's like an abusive relationship...

Also, I picked up Dishonored and Sleeping Dogs on the cheap on Thanksgiving, I can't wait til they get here so I can fire them up! Anything to help me forget [Walking Dead spoilers] my beloved Carley getting plugged in the face.

Im back at the rig, so you could say I am playing with a multi million dollar operation. But as this was related to gaming, I will have to state what I WAS playing.

I was playing Dishonored but am trying not to kill anything. I picked Hard difficult and as a first person shooter, it is hard not to want to kill people when you have sword out. After many deaths, reloads, I opted to switch to RE6.
I like RE6 a lot. It is much closer to RE4 but not as dark/scary. It is enjoyable, but I do find myself frustrated. Mostly after a cut scene; then I walk through a door, then a load screen, then a cut scene. Honestly, I do not have to walk through that FUCKING DOOR for you to move on to the next part. I have not started playing mercenary mode yet, though looking forward to it.
I bought "The Unfinished Swan". I just beat the first mission/part/chapter thing. It pretty awesome so far, I enjoy it a lot, but will save it to play with my dad watching as he enjoys watching me play those games.

Need for Speed - Enjoyed but wont buy.
Payday, the Heist - Enjoyed, but wont buy since it is old and is heavy on multiplayer, might buy a next one. Got me excited for watching Heat, Point Break, and playing GTA5.

Black Ops II League Play...got promoted to the Masters Division. I pretty much only get 10 ladder points per game, so I don't think I'm gonna finish in 1st place. Currently 5th out of 200.

Thirty-one hours of P4G since Tuesday. I *think* I like it....

HALO 4 MP...

Hitman: Absolution and nothing else. Really REALLY like it. Was nervous, some reviews were downright negative, but I just don't see it. The disguise system is kinda annoying but you get used to it and you use the awareness arrows it works well. I think my biggest gripe is that the missions are broken up and don't take place on one map, and thats a small gripe.

Beat Halo 4 solo on legendary. Now I think I'm going to make my way through a few XBLA games I picked up on sales and never got around to playing... first up is Comic Jumper. And I ordered a used Black Ops 2 for $35, so I might be checking that out soon. First CoD I've bought since the first modern warfare!
