While younger gamers have flocked to the brand, more mature consumers remain reluctant to jump on board. Skylanders move forward with trappable enemies, though I doubt it’ll turn stubborn heads.

What Are You Playing? November 2nd, 2013

With Battlefield, there's something so satisfying about making a stellar play on the objective. Taking out a squad of tightly knit soldiers, reviving your own squad mate after that chaos, and then planting the bomb on the objective feels so good. Even better, DICE rewards players who measure up with their team. You can have a terrible KDR and still lead your team to victory.

That's my plan for this weekend. Maybe some GTA Online. Maybe some Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Persona 4 Golden, but plenty of Battlefield 4 on PC. Next week, Call of Duty: Ghosts drops, and then it's smooth sailing to November 15th's launch of PlayStation 4.

I cannot wait. Can you? Let us know what you're playing in this week's catch-all commenters post below, and don't forget to check out review from this month's big games by clicking on a related title below.
