As much as I want to keep the world safe from the X-rays in X-COM: Enemy Unknown, I'll likely have to quick save and play some other games for review this weekend. First up is the The Unfinished Swan, a game I've been looking forward to for... almost four years now. Well, whenever it was that I saw the tech demo at GDC. Have you seen this game?
Oh and.... Dragon... Ball Z Kinect.... *grumble grumble* The question now is... do I have time to film myself while I play this ridiculous game? Oh jeez... I hope not.
X-Com, Dishonored and Retro City Rampage. I'm still baffled at people who think X-Com isn't worth $60. That's.... just weird to me. It has received incredible reviews, yet the haters persist. Oh well, their loss. To each their own I guess.
when choosing the vampire side, do you have to become a vampire lord? i prefer to stay as a normal vampire with weaknesses and having to rely on being sneaky
The NDA has lifted and the open beta is creeping up on the 16th, so I can I say that I'll be playing Mechwarrior Online this weekend. It's fun, graphically impressive, and a little bit addicting. LRMs need some tweaking though. LRM boats just sit back at 900M and blast away, it's starting to take over the game. Aside from that and PPC and ER lasers generating so much heat that they are completely impractical, the game is pretty well balanced.
Also, all of the Dragon Age talk a couple weeks ago reminded me that I never got around to playing the PC copy of DA2 I bought awhile back, so I've been playing that again. I'm about halfway through act 2 and have been playing wildly differently than I did when played the 360 version, I still hate the reused dungeon though.
Dishonored, Torchlight 2 and a little bit of Zelda 2 since I've never beaten it. I won't be playing a ton this week though since hunting season starts Monday. Taking a week off of work to go out and do that with my dad.
Dishonored chose a bad time to release (for me), i bought it on release day but have neglected it so far as i have just recently started playing Skyrim again. Hoping to give Dishonored a decent try at least before christmas (i'll be buying a Wii U, Dishonored may never get finished)
nothing exciting right now. Playthrough 2.5 on Borderlands with friends, and playing a Mechromancer a bit, she is so freaking overpowered even at level 10. Playing Pokemon Black 2 a bit, and watching Walking Dead Season 2 on Netflix when i am not playing anything.
So its a bit slow right now. Waiting for Assassins Creed 3 and Lego Lord of the Rings at the end of the month, and Hitman next month.
XCOM! Even on easy I am barely scraping through... Unless I suddenly get bored with it (seems unlikely at the moment) I think I'll likely be playing it until ACIII drops. Well, it will be an even split between XCOM and studying for my board exams...
Xcom enemy unknown and mass effect 3 multiplayer. Mhmm collectors.
Also want to play some borderlands 2 but im the only one on my friend list at lvl 40 and well...so far ill just have to wait for the rest of the people to get their asses moving.
Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City - $15 buy... liking the value of the game at $15. Beat dishonored on Chaos ending will go through again at some point in the future for the stealth playthrough but just didn't have the patience. Finally, some Mass Effect 3 because of those damn collectors and working toward playing through the campaign of Battlefield 3 as I want to get into the multiplayer and this is my first Battlefield game.
