What Are You Playing? September 29th, 2012
Posted on Saturday, September 29 @ 10:30:00 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
It wasn't until the seventh hour of 9 between Houston, TX (George Bush International Airport) and Frankfurt (an airport that also sounds like a fancy hot dog), that I realized I shouldn't have been playing games at all. I should have been sleeping. It's 5:30 PM on Saturday here in Germany, but I freaked the fuck out thinking I had missed posting What Are You Playing? At it's regularly scheduled time.
Thank God that was just a bad Lumines-induced dream! So tell me...
Borderlands 2 as Siren, going through on Solo before Cooperating on it. Sorry fellow Steam members, I want to enjoy the story as much as possible before ninja-ing loot.
Also, just bought Sleeping Dogs on Amazon. Hooray sales and PC downloads!
Finished up my Civ5 Pacal Apocalypse Now game, lots of Torchlight 2 multiplayer. Probably sign into GW2 for a bit right now, need to manage my inventory rather than ceaselessly exploring.
Arkham Asylum on Hard mode, cause my girlfriend wants to see the whole story and I gotta keep it interesting for myself. Also, just picked up soul calibur 4 so me and my room mate have something to occupy ourselves other than sling back more beer.
I finally picked up Borderlands 2 a few days ago. Doing my first playthrough as an Assassin. Thoroughly enjoying it. Hearing Claptrap say the phrase "screw that noise" was well worth the $65 price tag.
Just finished Black Mesa. My GOTY so far, probably (D3 might compete). If you can add to Half-Life and have your additions perfectly mesh with the world and the spirit of the game, that makes you a pretty ****ing talented developer in my book.
I'm a complete Dark Souls junkie I've only got 2 Bosses left Seath & Gwyn how ever October 9th I'll push Dark Souls aside for Dishonored while I wait for Artorias of the Abyss DLC 8D
Ah, ye old zaphander. 4 Kings gets MUCH harder on NG+, but that's awesome you got em on your first try. It's awesome to see someone bitten by the dark souls bug. Seath can be very easy if you know what to do, (I won't spoil it for you) it's getting to him that can be a *****. Gwyn also has a gimmick that can make the fight easy. But ya, I still play DS almost every day since I bought it in June. One of the best games I've ever played, hands down. I'm also playing some Spelunky on XBLA. God that game can be frustrating. and people think Dark Souls is hard...
Oh and sry for the double post, but if you are into the story and lore in Dark Souls, you should check out EpicNameBro's youtube channel. He has a bunch of lore based videos explaining some of the story and hidden things in the game that you might not have noticed. If you haven't checked out his channel yet be warned, it will probably blow your mind.
I'll check that out I usually read all item/weapon description thanks man :). Also I have almost all boss souls weapons/unique weaps so scaling PvP weapons are an option although you do need to NG+++ for all of the Sif soul weapons. For Knights Honor I'm an old Demon's player so combat was instantly pick up and play.
