What Do You Want in the PS4?

With news of a next-gen Xbox in the works, it won't be long until we begin hearing about its closest competitor, the PlayStation 4. Like yesterday, we're asking you what you'd like to see in a PlayStation 4. Y'know, like, if you guys were mad scientists working at Sony's super-secret research and development lab - what crazy stuff would you ask for? Yesterday we some some basic responses, like Blu-ray and backwards compatibility. Those are a given (and something we would want, too), but you gotta think future proof, people! That's what PlayStation is all about; these things gotta last a decade, at least!

4G Technology (But wireless as well!)
Reliable, small design.
A more intuitive interface or a tutorial (XMB isn't THAT intuitive, e.g. where do they keep the game saves file? the DLC? What if you want to uninstall/erase them?)
Price no higher than $500 at launch.

What on Earth are you talking about? If you mean cellular wireless tech, then I fail to see how a next-gen playstation would be portable enough to take advantage of that. Also, as far as I know, latency is not very good in current implementations. Not to mention that they would need a carrier...

Could we get better resource management and infrastructure?
I mean, the PS3 has this awesome CPU, yet it crashes when I'm using its crappy internet browser.
Less unnecessary firmware updates.
Upgradable RAM.
I always hop into the next-gen pretty late (depending on how well they support the current one), so what the next system has isn't all that big of a deal to me. I was happily married to my Xbox and PS2 well into 2008.

It also takes the strain off the consumer, not having to worry if the game they buy will be playable. While I understand that some consoles have expanded their hardware (the N64 comes to mind) it only affected a few games, adding a fair cost for little reward in terms of overall usability. The last thing consoles need is even greater fragmentation, especially within a single brand.

RAM upgrade every 3-4 years or so would be cool. I'm sure it wouldn't cost much.
It wouldn't be something as drastic as a new gaming computer or anything.
