Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

What If Other Games Got A Tomb Raider Reboot?

Posted on Wednesday, June 20 @ 08:35:49 Eastern by Keri_Honea
The Tomb Raider reboot has been quite the hot topic since E3. Whether you like or hate what the franchise is about to become, you have to admit that it definitely brings out more of Lara's emotional side. So what if other games known for being "tough" developed a similarly emotional side?

Blood. Not quite sure what is meant by a 'Tomb Raider' like reboot, but i would seriously like to see an up to date (graphically and a new story.) version of that. That and Abuse.

Franchises no, but games that ****in kicked ass n would be great to kick ass in HD graphics on my PS3. Fuck it, add Heretic to my list as well.

There was a Lode Runner remake in the 90s. Someone bought me a copy for Mac. I have never owned a Mac, so I have no idea if the game was any good.

Chrono Trigger... also, I would like to thank you folks at GR for (mostly) avoiding the whole Tomb Raider 'controversy', which while its interesting to watch the heated debate, it's getting kinda old on other sites. It seems like article pops up every day about it.
It's going to be an interesting time for video games, though, I can't wait to see what happens. I'm left wondering if this is another Bioshock, as in, a game to shake up the industry and how we handle mature elements (sincerely mature elements, not just OMFG MORE BLOOD YAY). Tomb Raider, and Last of Us... can't wait to see if this effect the industry in the long run, or if they turn out to be momentary sparks of ingenuity in an otherwise increasingly mediocre entertainment landscape.
