LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

What's on GameRevolution's PAX Prime Friday Schedule?

Posted on Monday, August 15 @ 14:41:44 Eastern by

GameRevolution already has a pretty busy schedule at PAX Prime. We typically only send one staffer to the show in Seattle to get a handle on all the gaming news, previews, hands-on and interviews we need. This year, that staffer is me! I thought I'd share with you a little bit of my schedule on the first day of PAX Prime 2011.

At 10 AM, right as the show floor opens, I'll be heading over to the Square Enix booth for some hands-on time with each of their games. Immediately following that is a panel on The Darkness II and the convergence of comics and games in that franchise.

While that panel may get replaced with hands-on time with The Darkness II, I've already got an appointment to play a little Crimson Alliance before the game debuts on Xbox Live Arcade. Bethesda shot me an e-mail to let me know about some hands-on time with both RAGE and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at PAX Prime, so I made an afternoon of it. Wrapping up my day is a meeting with The Perfect World to see some new free-to-play games they've got coming up soon.

Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't check out the Assassin's Creed: Revelations panel at 6 o'clock on Friday. While I haven't heard from Ubisoft about their booth, I'll be sure to see what they bring for the crowd in the panel's theater, hopefully some more single-player gameplay.

PAX Prime 2011 is right around the corner. There are some appointments I can't tell you about, but I'll be sure to let you know what else my schedule will be filled with soon! What games are you looking forward to hearing more about during PAX Prime?

You should try to pry more details of this single-player door-lock thingy from ID Sottware. *Sagenod*

Good idea, might I suggest a rack, red hot pokers, pincers, an iron maiden, thumb screws, a cat-o‘-nine-tails, a water board, and of course my personal favorite the Pear of Anguish.

I live just over 40 miles to the north of Seattle. If you want you can come up and barrow my thumb screws, my cat-o‘-nine-tails, and my Pear of Anguish if you want.
