LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

On the future of some gamers

Before Microsoft and Sony do something regarding their future in the video game business, I wanted to write, and I've wanted it for a long time now, but other things kept getting in my way, and fearing that tomorrow might be too late, today will have to do.   Months ago,...

DAILY MANIFESTO

Whew, I Really Dodged Me a Bullet Right There.

Oh thanks

When Sony announced that it would take the Vita and an assload of games on a caravan tour all over Japan, allowing the commonfolk to sample games before the machine's launch, I crossed myself and prayed to Buddha that it would come nowhere near me. Take a look at the image above and you'll see that the tour skips my whole fuggin' island, requiring me to traverse the Seto Inland Sea if I wanna get in on some sweet post-TGS-but-pre-launch Vita action. Well hey thanks, divinity. I definitely don't want to check out Sony's first console release in half a decade or play any of its interesting games.

In chronological order, the tour will stop in Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, and of course, Tokyo. I had two friends come surprise me with a visit by flying into Tokyo. Again I refer to the map above as to why that was problematic. Remember to check your geography, kids. If you're visiting a friend, fly into an airport near him/her. And if you're a big company launching a caravan tour promoting your new product, make sure to not completely skip and island with over 4 million people on it.

...You are driving right past the motherfucker!

Lol. Man, it's well known Japan has FOUR major islands, skipping one in it's entirety seems pretty ridiculous. I mean, it's not like you're on Okinawa or something.

PS: If I can be your friend, my surprise visits will at least have me fly into Osaka! Unless there is an International Airport on Shikoku that I am unaware of.

Wow. You own an island with 4 million people on it. I'm impressed. Do they pay rent?

    Sony can obviously read minds.
