After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

DAILY MANIFESTO

Who cares who owns Marvel?

Posted on Friday, September 11 @ 16:45:47 PST by Blake_Morse
As the resident comic book nerd here at the compound I've been getting a lot of people asking me how I feel about Disney's recent acquisition of Marvel. You really wanna know how I feel about it?

I could care less. Seriously. It's not like Marvel is going to stop making Deadpool comics and turn Wolverine into a squeaky voiced rodent (I hope). It's business and more to the point, it's business as usual. Hitler, on the other hand seems very upset about the matter.

And since it's the end of the week that means Haiku Friday!!! This week, just about everyone is a winner!

The first 500 haikus will receive a beta key for the super cool Side-Scrolling Arcade Style Beat-em-up MMORPG, (SSASBEUMMORPG?) Dungeon Fighters Online. DFO separates itself from other MMOs by actually being a game I like to play. It's very much an old school arcade experience and I highly recommend getting in on the beta action.

Just leave us your 5-7-5 in the comments section below and you're pretty much guaranteed to be a winner.

But wait! There's more!

The top five haikus will also get a Steam code for Texas Cheat'em Poker. I'm sure that you can hardly contain your excitement!
