Why Is There No Deathmatch in Red Faction: Armageddon?

As some of you may have heard, Red Faction: Armageddon will not feature any direct PvP modes. You'll still be able to smite your friends on Ruin Mode's leaderboards, but you'll never experience smashing their heads in with a sledgehammer or dissolving them with a plasma gun. I know, it does sound tragic, huh? But that doesn't mean multiplayer is going to suck.

So when we got a chance to talk with Rojae Smith and found out just why something that's such a staple like deathmatch isn't showing up, we had to give him a chance to defend his decision. Check out the vid below to find out what his answer was.
