Would You Buy A $1,300 Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition?

Last month, I reported that Capcom Japan had announced an exorbitantly expensive Resident Evil 6 Premium Edition, which includes four tablet covers, the game (of course), and the pièce de résistance, Leon's leather jacket. The whole package, however, costs 105,000 yen or just about $1,300 US.

Today, via the official Capcom-Unity blog, a Capcom Story guy has posited the idea of bringing over a couple of the Premium Edition over to the US, but he wants "to gauge interest before he does that".

I'm guessing that many of you would not buy it, especially in this economy, but would even one of you get it? If not, how high would you go to buy it?

It really depends on who is making the jacket. If it's a high end designer I'd pay about 800ish

No. This kind of reminds me of bartering in Mexico. Vendor propses ludicrous price for item...you counter with exceptionally low offer and end up getting item for about 10x less than initial offer. Yet the tradition continues as there is always someone who will bite for that initial offer. In walks Paris Hilton...

Considering decent leather jackets aren't anywhere near 1300 the price makes no sense unless those tablet covers are made of silver

I'd buy it, if I somehow had $1300 cash to just throw around, but thats about as likely as me meeting Big Boss, or riding Luto.

If I had $1300 lying around I'd build myself a beastly new computer.

Besides, I'm a big and extremely tall guy. I'm 6'9". I'd need at least a 3XL size jacket, and I'm betting not a single one of those jackets will be even 2XL.

I was thinking more for display purposes, also, money to upgrade a pc shouldnt need to be lying around, it shoudl be set aside =)

If I was rich I wouldnt buy a damn $1300 jacket, leather, themed, high end designer name, etc; Bought my 1st car, used, for $200, my 2nd, used, for $800, that leaves $100 to spare between 2 cars.
