LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Would You Pay $30 for Early Access to Duke Nukem Forever?

Posted on Monday, November 29 @ 13:09:50 Eastern by

After waiting for what seems like... 'Forever'... Duke Nukem Forever is currently pegged for a Q1 2011 launch, thanks to the once thought-to-be-dead game being resurrected by Gearbox Software. Gearbox is using fan's desperation for more Duke Nukem to help move stock of their most recent game, Borderlands.

Packed into every copy of Borderlands Game of the Year Edition is a voucher to gain early access to Duke Nukem Forever. Each copy of the GOTY Borderlands normally retails for $59.99 (or $49.99 on PC). So if you're not interested in the game, or already have played it (it's got a GOTY edition for a reason), then it might be too expensive for you to spring for it just to get an early crack at Duke Nukem Forever. But thanks to a Cyber Monday deal, you can have your early access voucher for only $30. And you get a copy of Borderlands GOTY edition thrown in for good measure.

Not many games are worthy of paying just to have an early taste, but after such a long wait for Duke Nukem Forever, $30 might be worth it for many. If you want to hang with Duke Nukem earlier than everyone else, be sure to take advantage of this deal.

Borderlands Game of the Year Edition (w/ Duke Nukem Forever Early Access) - $29.99 on Amazon.
