After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

Wrestlemania 24 Part Deux

Posted on Wednesday, April 2 @ 22:07:28 PST by Duke_Ferris
I admit it, I'm impressed. I was prepared to have some fun at my first WWE event ever, but I was not ready for the sheer, awesome, massive spectacle of it all.

Apparently Wrestlemania 24 broke some records. Highest ticket sales ever: $5.85 million. Most people ever in the Florida Citrus Bowl: 74,635 fans. Let me tell you, that many people produce a lot of energy, and a lot of noise.

Lucky for us, we were above it all in an owner's skybox with our own food and bar. I felt like the king of Wrestlemania.

In between Interviews with the wrestlers and a press conference, we got to spend a few days at Disney. We were not well behaved. Pics will be coming shortly.

To answer some questions, most of the crowd (including us) didn't even know there was a fireworks "malfunction", but apparently about 40 people got singed, nobody was seriously hurt. And yes, I did feel moved by the forced "retirement" of Ric Flair.

My favorite part though was Chris Hudak and I giving away our swag bags to some kids. Sorry about the sound quality, we shot it with a cellphone.
