For years, I believed that nothing would be able to destroy Star Wars more than George Lucas The Star Wars Holiday Special. It was staggeringly awful. It had a cantina skit with Harvey Korman and Bea Arthur. Much of the plot revolves around Chewbacca's family (and I'm not making this up) Malla, Itchy and Lumpy.   read more...

 Yesterday fellow GR comrade, Greg Damiano and I began our fantastic voyage down the I-5 heading from the warmth and comfort of the compound in Berkeley to San Diego for Comic-Con: the ultimate nerdgasm. This year we're on a bit of a budget (we already had to sell one of our siberian tigers) so instead of the usual luxury jet we cruise in, we decided to "rough it" and drive down like the common man.   read more...
