Two Free Games

Posted by Duke_Ferris - 07/21/09 The price is always right when it's zero. Here's a couple freebies I've been playing this last week. First off, a no brainer: free Peggle. My favorite casual addiction teamed up with ActiBlizzard or BlizzVizion or whatever damn name they're going by these days to create some World of Warcraft themed levels and give them away for free - ten levels plus a bunch of challenges, to be specific. You do not need Peggle to play, this is a stand alone game. Here's the place to get such an awesome free game. The second game is a little stranger: Evony. It's an MMORTS that plays in your browser. It's one of these games that's free to play, but you can optionally buy some bonus items with real world cash. I like it for two reasons. First, not spending real monies does not lock you out of any part of the game. In fact, you can win any item and win in-game cash (called cents) through your daily free spin on the "wheel of fortune". Second because the PVP is hard core. I've already been attacked (and pillaged) by a larger neighbor. Unfortunately, i saw him coming and hid my gold and stockpiles in a nearby valley, so he lost troops, and got no loot.
