E What do these ratings mean?

IT is hard for me to grade something that is technically not a game, but something totally fun in terms of it's process. Brain Age, a random little ditty from the land of the rising sun, is a Japanese phenomenon over there, where it actually teaches students and adults alike how to improve their reading and math skills. games like Sudoku, memorization reading aloud and the like, All are done well within the DS, and the functions of the stylus and microphone are, while not perfect, but are used exceptionally well.

I normally would go into more details about the game like this. Hell, most of my reviews are full of little tidbits of info and the personal feelings of this avid gamer, but for Brain Age, we need to remember that it is designed to be used once a day over a period of time, not constantly throughout a day. Brain age is something special, plain and simple. I give it the overall grade of a B becaue it is for learning purposes to make it fun and interactive. Remember, THIS IS NOT A GAME, this is a test really. Spend your money if you feel it is necessary. For me, I thought so, and I can safely say that my score has been pretty low for a while now.
