Kirby: Squeak Squad might be one of my favourite 2D side scrolling games. It starts with Kirby about to eat a strawberry cheesecake but suddenly it disappears. He looks to his right and sees 4 animals called Squeaks standing there. There is the leader, Daroach, the big blue one, Storo, the smart one, Doc, the fighter, Spinni, and the minions, the Squeakers. You must get your cheesecake back and find out more stuff about the Squeaks. Firstly, you might have noticed that this has a pretty lame story, even though there isn't too much about the stolen cheesecake in the game. The new and cool thing with Kirby: Squeak Squad is that you can mix abilities. Also, there is new abilities like Animal Kirby, which lets you dig through certain ground, and Bubble Kirby, which lets you turn enemies into there abilities. The bottom screen of the DS acts as his belly where you can hold 5 items and mix them. The one really bad thing about Squeak Squad is that there isn't much depth to it. It's pretty much like all other 2D Kirby games. But other than that it is a good game that requires you to try it.
