I love this game.  Although I can't say that it's one of the BEST RPG's I've ever played, it's definitely the best I've played on a hand held.

The GR reviewer hit the nail on the head when he said this game had epic length.  By the end of the game I had pretty much fallen in love with the characters, and that coming from a hand held game is pretty remarkable.

The story is good, despite the fact that it may be a little... overwhelming.  You definitely have to pay attention to understand exactly what's going on, and sometimes you'll just be like... WTF.  But the best part about the story is the character development.  It's awesome.  All the main characters truly evolve throughout the game.  It's the kind of game that makes you feel like you're apart of it and you'll remember it forever.

The combat is good as well.  It's definitely a break from the typical boring menu-clicking of regular RPG's.  The stylus is dead on for the most part and I'd take TWEWY's combat system over a typical RPG any day.

Leveling up and all the upgrading of an RPG is intact as well.  Even more so actually, because once you've gotten a little bit into the game you're actually able to lower your level so that you get more items and experience, which is awesome.

Overall I think this is a great game for anybody with a DS and who loves RPG's.  The only cons are I wish it would've had maybe a little bit more interaction with NPC's, other than just the main story line stuff.  But overall its a GREAT game for the DS, and I recommend it to anyone who likes RPG's.
