When you're done wih this game your skin will be off your body, and behind your sofa from where you were playing F-Zero GX for about 6 addictive hours! Although sad to say, you will be bored after those addictive hours, because this game has no depth what-so-ever.

In multiplayer it's a freakin' hoot! But single player, at first is amazing...but when you finally complete the whole thing on the highest difficulty...there's nothing else to do. The story mode on this game is very weak, most of the missions are just either one-on-one races or collecting certain items - not particularly gripping. I find racing with 30 superfabulously fast racers more satisfying.

Ok, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the content, because this game isn't actually as bad as I'm making it out to be. In those 6 addictive hours you be blown off by the sheer pace, awesome-ness, graphical technology, and all-round excitement. The fact that it's so fast makes it amazing for you if you win, mainly because it gives you the feeling of invincibility! If you can win in this ultra-paced game, you'll think you can do anything!

The gameplay is basically racing in 3 set grand prixs (4 when one is unlocked), and you can do these on 3 difficulties of easy, medium, hard (then very hard when you do all the hard ones). Other modes include practise, storymode, multiplayer. And you can also make a vehicle of your own. From unlcoking machine parts to completing cups and stroy mode scenarios, you can make a kick-ass machine that will make all women melt in its sight...as it could be that hot! You can also purchase other riders from your cup winnings, as you only begin the game with 4 unlcoked drivers out of a possible 30-odd. So not exactly a lot to do! But it's very fun doing what has been given. In actual racing moments, we still have the purple energy field that heels your vehicle, and after the first lap you can convert this energy into boost, if you're confident in not getting attacked or taking on those rapid, whip-lashing turns. One flaw of the game is the combat system, the only moves you can do is a strong strafe left or right, or a spin attack. But whichever you choose, it gives a lame affect on your competitors. Not the same F-Zero we knew before when you could anhilalate your foes!

The graphics are fantastic! Very smooth framerate, which could be moisturiser if it were served in a bottle. The backgrounds and objects on the track make it an imaginative experience for you, and it's excellent to dwell in this world. The machines look swift also, with aerodynamic designs, and polished metal that will make you want to wash your car just by looking at it.

The music in the game is awesome! Maybe because I'm an electronic music fan, but it fits the game image. It's mostly techno of course, but even if you didn't like this kind of music, i reckon it'd pump up your veins and get your adreniline fed very quickly in order to cross the finish line first. And of course, they still have classic tracks like the mute city theme, and big blue...along with other new and old tracks!

So if you're a fan of the high-octane pace, of the futuristic, and of course of the racing game genre...this game is for you. Hell, I'm not even a strong fan of racing games, and i love this game. Of course, it may be safe to rent this game first, as it can get boring after a short period of time. But whichever way you choose, you must grab this game in F-Zero pace!

Sometimes I didn't get what you were saying, and the other times I was continually knocked over the head with the punctuation. Lay off the exclamations points please. But still, your excitement of the game through rather clearly. (!!!)
