Super Smash Bros. Melee is the best fighting game in my eyes. It is awesome to make 1-4 Nintendo characters duke it out against eachother. You may only start with about 10 characters but if you progress through the game, you can collect many more. The raphics are very good and there is alot of button-mashing with the contorls but it is still very enjoyable. The stages are very creative and fun to play in but some are too small. But luckily, there are big stages too. My favourite addition is the trophies. You collect trophies that are Nintendo related an they give you a description of what the trophy is. Classic mode is the best mode where you just progress through differnt fighters until you get to the Master Hand. The Adventure Mode isn't as great. In it, you move through like it was a platformer and fight different thbings along the way. Each place is based on a character like the first level is based around Mario. The multiplayer is awesome. There are many different modes including Tiny Mode (where everyone is tiny), Giant Mode (where everyone is giant) and Invisible Mode (where everyone is invisible). Another new feature is the Homerun Derby where you choose one character to play as and you must weaken a sand bag and then hit it as far as you can with the Homerun Bat. The last new feature is the Tournament Mode that is played out just like a tournament where you pick a character to be and progress through the tournament until you become the #1 fighter. If you have a Gamecube (or a Wii!) then you must play this game until you absolutely love it!!!
