A pichachu electricuting a Yoshi.  Samus launching missles at Zelda.  Link beating the fudge out of Ganon... again.  The sights the smells the sounds of the new installment of the the smash bros. series.  Feels good don't it!

The actual one player mode is good to unlock new characters and if your going to an SSBM tournament, setting the game on hard and hope that you don't blink and suddenly realize that you've lost all your lives.  That's about it!  It is boring while if your a trophy collector your going to suffer through the needs improvment single player.

The event matches are tough and while takes forever to beat all 51 (there is a 51st and yes you do face giga bowser) it still is fun to the not so great and a challenge to the SSBM master.  All the other extra areas (ex: home-run context, break the target the holographic people fight thing ect.) do offer fun while some of their fun is short lived.

The controls for this game are perfect once you get past the X/Y button jump thing, it is easy to control some characters while characters like Ness need a lot of getting used to.  The pokemon suprisingly aren't that hard to learn how to fight with (I'm talking to you nintendo, get rid of the turn-based pokemon games!!) even though Jigglypuff's flying feels like nothing compared to Kirby's.

The multiplayer for this game is pretty good and the tournament option is great for parties and the normal melee still holds the same amount of fun it did for the first game. The special melee mode does offer some fun modes while some aren't all that great.

It feels good to see all the popular Nintendo characters duke it out in their respective worlds.  The game does have its problems, but doesn't every game.  The problems aren't bad and the good stuff is good.  I can only dream what Super Smash Brothers Brawl will be like

There's not enough details in here. Explain more what each mode is and whatnot
