What do these ratings mean?

This game seemed so revolutionary to me at first... Enough that half way through it Said goodbye to my two 6600gts and got two brandy new 8600GTS 512MBs... I wanted to see everything it had to offer....  And as I am playing I started to feel like I have done this before... Like this games concept wasnt new at all... And I remembered System Shock 2... A game where instead of under water, you are in a space ship... With options to hack machines, turrets, cameras... Hone abilities strikingly similar to the plasmids in this game.  In the end it almost seems like a direct rip off of SS2 in a new environment.  I still rate the game highly for different reasons... Such as, its a block buster game whos developer chose to favor the PC platform... This is something that doesnt happen enough anymore...  It is a graphic benchmark in my opinion... With DX10 extensions it is breaking ground.  Good sound, and story... Enough to keep you wanting to play... So many games can have their controllers set down anymore with no interest to pick them back up... A game should be like a movie that you have to force to move forward... And I think they accomplished that .

I think his review was awesome, since he focused on what was most important. So don't hate.
