The recent blog, Peace in the Era of Call of Duty really made me think about war games that dig deeper than simply a kill streak reward. The first game that came to mind was Spec-Ops: The Line and although I haven’t played it, I began to wonder if it did the war genre as...
First I have to say I disagreed with all the negative comments about this game.
In fact, this is actually a really great game to play. Especially with friends and families. If you play alone, it's not as fun, but it's not as bad as you say it is. This game was made in 1998 or 1999 even 2000 games graphic can't be that great, if you were to compare that to others games that's has a new release, then you’re just judging a book by its cover.
The game is not pointless, it has a lot of maze and puzzle to be solved, and it's even harder with just one player. You really need to have people to play with you, in order to see the beauty of this game.
The customized part of the game is to determine how strong your player will be, if you add to the right stats, me and my brothers spend hours trying to get bonus cards to get more stats point, I say it was a pain in the butt, but if you compare your other characters that doesn't get more stats point, at the same level they are weaker. So that's the point to the whole customizing part of the character creation.
It's just like any other games if you think about it. You have to "grind" for levels, and unique weapons. You have to go explore the world and unlock areas, and gather all the gems. I saying it's said for me to say this but I played this game for over ten years, and I never finish it. Because I'm always missing one last gem. But I kept coming back to it, hopefully I'll finish it this year.... Or the next....
So to sums it all up, this game is first place for a reason; and a valid one too.
I give this a A ++
Why? Because it was given a F it's doesn't deserve. A very lousy reason to give a F at that too -_-
Reason 1: Lousy Port ? (every game port is like the same thing... You go in some port and you just have to wait with the loading screen on... Why is this even a reason?
Reason 2: Terrible graphic? (oh please, it's made from like 10 years ago, or even more depending on when this review was made.... but giving it a F because of graphic? Please, i played games with worst graphic before like Mario, but I won't give it a review because of its graphic. Cause it's better than me with stick man! Actually, I think I draw pretty good so ... )
Reason 3: Bad Action? (I think it's the same... as reason 2... O.O I'm not gonna repeat that.)
Reason 4: No point? (It's point is to be played with multiple players, solve puzzle, and try getting your last final weapon. Gathering 99 Gold coins is a pain, but it's super fun.)
Reason 5: My eyes are bleeding! (??? A very funny thing to add if this game really is bad but it's not. So I suggest you go see some kind of specialist. For the eye I mean...)
One more thing to add before I'm further hated, this game has a drama to it too, if you played as far as I did. It's really interesting, because classes do play a role in it. And a really great plot, I just wish I could play it again soon. (Can 't play it on window 7 OS T_T oh god it hurts, I'm so gonna reformat my computer just to get window xp again and play this game and finish it, as my last wish on this planet)
And in conclusion, Please do not judge this game from anyone's point of view. Play it so that you know it! It's worth the time, and it's super fun with families and friends. And if your like me who's not gonna judge books by it's cover. Then have fun, and place your reviews. I wanna know how many people like or dislike this game. XD ( I tend to like things others hate, or hate things others like...hahaha, it be really funny if I'm the only one giving this game a A++)
