Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling
Posted on 06/15/13
E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

T Contains Animated Violence

What do these ratings mean?

Feel the FEAR of the violence.

You play as the FBI Agent Ethan Thomas, a men who's part of the Serial Crimes Unit.
The game begins in the crime scene where a man has been murderer, and he's there with the police to figure out what happened and to clean up any remaining mess.

While he walks through the crime scene he falls down and the man's murderer appear and take his gun. He finds him and the murderer kills thomas partners and he throws Thomas through a window. When he wakes up he is in his home and an old man that was an old friend of his father appear, an tells him that he will protect him, but he has to run because the police is chasing Thomas because the murderer killed Tomas partners with his gun, then the police think that thomas killed his own partners.

He has to find out who was this murderer and chase him, but he has no more support of the FBI, they are chasing him. The only other person he can depend on, save himself, seems to be a colleague of his who's willing to stay in touch by phone, helping Thomas to analyze evidence so he can slowly connect the dots that lead to some disturbing discoveries.

In the game you won't have more than a cellphone, a taser gun and as a weapon, anything you can find as pipes, locker doors, fire extinguishers, Fire guns, etc. This is a very violent and scary game, it uses the engine of F.E.A.R. and it has the same options, has pretty good graphics and it has a very realistic combat, where the enemy A.I. is pretty well executed. The exciting about this title is that it's scary but in a silence way (this means that you barely hear the sound of your enemies walking) which makes this title a very scary game.

The good thing of this game is that Thomas is not the classic "good-looking Agent" it is a more "common" agent, which gives realism to Condemned. Also you use forensic tools to get closer to the murderer,  you should get clues like blood, foot and fingerprints, etc.

Graphics: Very good, a bit better than F.E.A.R.'s (it has the same engine)

Gameplay: Excellent but short.

Story: Great, you feel inside the game.

Difficulty: Medium.

Sound: Very Realistic.
