What do these ratings mean?

Overall, Oblivion has to be one of the greatest games of them all, its #8 on my list underneath the old DOOM collectors edition, Halo 2, Call of Duty 2, Halo, and #1 is the upcoming Halo 3 (may it rule without a single doubt). Oblivion has the greatest graphics and physics engine I've ever seen and a smart AI (but just a little on the dumb side). It has tons of weapons and armor that you can choose to be on your character (deadric armor is the best on my list). Its lighting is the best ive ever seen as well.

Although, there are some downsides on it.
#1. a whole ton of things cost too much money (house in Skingrad)
#2.you cannot shoot a bow off a horse.
#3.some places and missions are just too easy.

I would give this game a top rating if only my 360 could take the weight of some places and things.

This is a game that you should buy a 360 for, no doubt.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion is un doubtly the best RPG on the market. Fromt he beutifull scenary to the lush charactor detail, Oblivoin does it best. I have the game for the PC. My rig is a muscle s.o.b. But this game still has issues popping up. I play the game MAX settings. In towns works and looks beautifull, outside when I do near a Oblivion gate itll suck the juice streight out of my pc. The pc version is the better of the two simply because if your pc is good enough the game will run perfect and as for the 360 there is no upgrading you get what you get. The fighting system in Oblivion is real time. First game ever to actually put you in the battle with swords, for example, when your fighting and you put up your sheild it actually blocks because its a sheild not because of some randome calculation of your chances of blocking. And depending on the power of your opponents blow, sometimes itll knock you back of down. Good game. A Must buy.
