I bought this game for 10 Euros, since I was interested in playing F.E.A.R. 2...
Now, I won't tell much about the story (since everyone probably knows it already), and I'll just give my general thoughts.
The graphics looked really good, for a 4 year old game and the sound wasn't that worse (could have been a bit better). I expected much from the story, but besides having to listen to a lot of (boring) voicemails and some commentary to things you upload, it was generally bad. Only at the end of the game, were things getting better. At every open space you could expect enemy’s (I only found two open spaces in the whole game where there weren't enemy’s), so that part didn't score well either. The atmosphere int the game was generally good, not giving to much scary moments, giving a lot of intense fights and a great bullet time. I was a bit deceived having gotten no final boss or something, just some sort of escape... I wasn't also that much happy about the setting (a factory, a skyscraper, (best of four) an abandoned neighborhood and a military basement), the levels were genuinely linear, giving no multiple routes. You have a great selection of weapons (but only three grenades :( ).

I'm happy to have played the game, I will play F.E.A.R. 2, but I think this game was overhyped.

I haven't play the multiplayer, since it required a 800MB patch, and I have a 25GB limited download service.
