What do these ratings mean?

Half Life 2  isnt a game that i was counting down for. My buddy bought it and talked me into getting it and I must say I havnt regretted it one bit. To start with Ill keep this review simple.

Graphics. Very very good graphics, clean smooth running and it helps bring you into the game.

Story: Really detailed and complex story for a shooter. Very pleased with the deph into the characters, very few games have characters that you enjoy seeing and running into again and this game has that quality to it thanks to great graphics, plus great voice actors

sound: awesome surround sound feel to it. Everything is in sync

Gameplay:" Awesome mixture of driving shooting running adventure puzzles that are very well implimented into the game.

overall I give it a 8.5.
