What do these ratings mean?

Steam is a Steaming Pile of Stank. The game is However is awesome. Just Prepare for a long Install.

First off, Let me say that Valve is so concerned with the few people who pirate games, that they are willing to torture those of us who pay for their games, and the people who pirate are probably playing their pirated copy right now. That's what happens when your numbers guy makes up a spreadsheet to let you know how much you lost due to Piracy. Please remember this Valve, I will not buy your next game because HalfLife2 ticked me off that bad. Now How much money are you losing....

The Game is great though. I think I'll get a Pirated Copy of HalfLife3 when it comes out...
I would pay 3 times as much to never have to suffer an Install like this EVER AGAIN.
The game itself is awesome. But back to what Morons Valve are.
1 Month Later I go to Play my game, I'm just interested in playing my single player game I have in progress. Steam starts downloading like a fool. I start Steaming, I guess that is why they named it "Steam", either that or because it is a steaming pile of poop.
So Finally the STEAM stops downloading, Now my splash screen takes me to deathmatch... I don't want to deathmatch... I wan't to play my single player game... who are the idiots that make decisions at valve. How much sleep do they lose worrying about people pirating their software.
Well I say with If Valve keeps this Steam thing going, then I think they Deserve It.

OK That Covers what I think of Steam... Now the Game.
The Graphics are Excellent. The Environments are Very Realistic and Draw you into the Game.
The Sound is Top Notch as Well.
The Cinematic Sequences have been replaced with In Game Characters Scripting through the Story while you look around, with surround sound they will placed accordingly. Very Cool.
The Weapons are about the same from Half-Life which is One of the best games ever.
One New Weapon is a Gravity gun that allows you to pick stuff up and use it as a weapon. Oops, did I just hit you with your buddy... Sorry about that.
The Controls are your Typical ASDW + Mouse, and easy enough to get into.
The Controls for the Vehicles in my opinion suck.
Most Puzzles are innovative enough, such as seaking out sealed barrels to Float a Ramp up to allow you to jump to a higher road. Nothing requiring a slide rule and a cheat book.

Steam alone Dropped this Potential A+ game to a B- . It's that much of a pain in the Duff.
Next Time I'll wait for it to hit one of my Consoles.
