What do these ratings mean?

League of Legends (LoL) is a game that lives up to its acronym. It's essentially a dumbed down version of the popular Warcraft 3 custom map Defense of the Ancients, but despite being a much newer product, somehow manages to have worse graphics. Not only that, but LoL is plagued by horrendous balance issues, a very hostile and immature community, and a user interface that could only be described as awful.

If you're hanging out for your fix Dota-styled gameplay, but want something a little more modern, check out the far superior Heroes of Newerth instead, because League of Legends is really not worth your time.

I know that you wrote this 2 years ago, give it or take, but are you mentally injured, seriously, at the time of LOL's release it's graphics bested DOTA's, and you could clearly see that it was going to get better, and it did, now it's THE MOST PLAYED GAME IN THE WORLD, and it has gone hay further then DOTA, DOTA 2, HON, or any other MOBA, I believe this game was a good game that turned into a masterpiece. You gave the lowest rating i have ever seen, without such big arguments, you just happened to stumble into League of Legends and automatically assumed it was worse the DOTA. I believe that League of Legends deserved a B- at least in the time of it's release, but right now it's an A+.
