I had planned to write something about the Borderlands series, but that will have to wait. I have something I need to get off my chest first. It's very personal, and I hope the two or three of you who follow my sparse blog will spare me this moment. I joked in my review for the bizarre...

What do these ratings mean?

I remember it was like Christmas in November when I stood in line to pick up my pre-ordered copy of Modern Warfare 2. I went in, grabbed by copy and ran home! I was up til six and seven in the morning for eight days...

And found a lot of good and more bad...

Let's start with the good as I always do! The graphics still look incredible with so much attention to detail you really have to give cred to the artists and producers. The single player mode is visually stunning, with action and stealthly parts that keep the game itself fresh. The multiplayer offers an array of weapons and attachments that all come with and overload of challenges that always make you feel like you're accomplishing something all the time. Spec Ops mode is fun as well when you have a friend who wants to do something different. (Still I would have loved to blast zombies with an M4, but oh well.)

The multiplayer is old, but very new at the same time. Not as many perks, but you have to use them in order to get the pro version of the perk. The level's are visually awesome....

And here's the bad of it all...

I love Modern Warfare both one and two, but two has TOO MUCH. Weapon attachments such as heart beat sensors give your position away too easily to someone using it and even worse if you are looking for someone and they camp with it. The thermal scope isn't really a thermal scope at all. It brings up the enemy as white hot, which is cool, but against snow which is white too...there's a problem. FMJ is deep impact turned into an attachment which is completely useless seeing as it takes one bullet less to kill someone through a wall (After you hit them with 20 rounds already).

All that and more problems with the game! Yay....

COD:MW1 was based off of skill and situation with the assistance of perks. Confusing? Let me break that down. I have an RPD and I'm looking down sight when someone with a SMG pops out. We both fire. Now I should be dead unless I have Juggernaught on. (Skill doesn't matter up close but the situation with LMG Vs SMG matters with the asstance of a perk)

COD:MW2 is based off of perks and some skill and some situations. Once again (and this has happened so many times.) I have an RPD and I'm looking down sight when someone with an SMG pops out and this time it's not in close range, but medium meaning I have the advantage right? WRONG. I fire and see three x's and then my character falls to the ground dead after a flash of red when one bullet hit me (And on his killcam it shows that he fired 10 off target rounds at me) Oh, did I mention he had Lightweight pro and Marathon Pro on?

Anybody from COD:MW1 complain about the HALO knife? Now they give people a perk that lets them do it called commando. Yeah, it was fun for a month or two, but now it's rediculous. Lightweight pro and Marathon pro with commando pro (mixed with the care package smoke grenade that allows you to move like a crackhead fresh off the pipe...) takes ZERO skill. Someone coming around the corner with it on can jump an ungodly distance to kill you.

And the biggest factor of them all which is my biggest problem for this game. Mine and your favorite...CAMPERS! COD:MW2 maps encourage camping to the highest degree! Almost every map has a bottle neck route to get to the other side which allows for people to sit back and camp. Now I know people are going to defend and say you have to use smoke or some other way to get around...No. Use your smoke and get shot by a thermal sniper! Oh you have cold blooded on? Hope you have ninja pro on too because Mr. and Mrs. Claymore would love to see you! Yay! I killed the camper who had a great spot to camp and see everyone and then...You die because you didn't see his tactical insert around that corner...

Problems with what I said? Play the game and then come back and tell me it never happened to you...Because if it didn't...you're a camper.

I'm not saying it's a horrible game people, but if you like to win and see victory on the screen I hope you have a good party of people you know to play with you because randoms...eh, they more so suck than anything.
