Windows 10 Review for Dummies

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

What do these ratings mean?

I'm writing this review a bit late since it's 2007 and Most Wanted and Carbon have both been released, but i just think this game is worth reviewing no matter how old it is.

It's just like any other racing game only better, first there's the fun races with great speed, then there's the customisation which gives you a lot of options. And the graphics are good too, put all of those together and you've got one good racer. The things like circuit and sprint races are still fun, and you could say the same thing about the drag and drift races. The U.R.L (underground racing league) is a tournament of about 3 races and is on a track, not on the streets. They do get extremely repetitive but you get rewarded for putting up with them by getting a lot of money.

Speaking of repetitiveness, the game has about 30 more races than Underground 1, when you think you've finished them all another set just comes along. That can get annoying since it's a huge free roaming city and you have to drive to all the races. But when it comes to the actual races, the only thing that keeps you playing is the speed and thinking about getting that really cool spoiler with the money you'll make.

The cars handle well and look awsome, the customisation is really satisfying and there are a lot of options. There are also a lot of cars to choose from, but anyone who likes exotics or muscle cars, you might not want to see what ones they have. You start off with a selection of 6 cars and once again, one of them is the Mazda MX5. I was really surprised to find this out because the last time i played it on playstation i don't remember that MX5 being there.

The graphics are really good with the way everything appears to reflect off the car. The wet road effect looks really good and the lights even shine off of that. The rain however, just like GR said, is pathetic, it really does look like it's only raining over your car. Other than that everything looks great.

Let me sumerise this game the way GR does.

                                                                      +Great graphics

                                                                      +Awsome looking cars

                                                                      +Fun races

                                                                      -That get repetitive

                                                                     +Huge city

-That you are forced to roam in

                                                                     -Awfull rain effect
