yea, I may have over 53 days played on my Human Mage (70, Zanshin, Scilla) and about 10 days combined on my alts..but damn were those fun times.
As with any game, it is more fun with friends. Although there is no denying the huge social aspect of this game, especially at level 70 with guilds and raiding, it is always more fun to play with some RL friends. Then you can go out to lunch the next day and talk about it and feel like geeks, but then realize you ARE geeks, very SEXY geeks at that, and then you laugh at the world and relish in greatness. Screw the WoW haters, this game is fun.
I like PvP, and this is a major reason why I have chosen to stick with WoW instead of joining LOTR:Online. This game has a great balance of PVP and PVE (on a PVP server at least), and you can choose whichever you want as long as youre willing to put in the time investment.
Yes, this game takes up a huge chunk of your time, but it will be the only game you'll play for a LONG time, so it doesnt matter. I played this game for almost a year straight, practically ignoring almost every other game out there. I plan to start up again soon with some friends, or even your family!
The in-game support system is very good. You speak with live people, and they usually answer your question.
My only gripe is that everything can become quite a chore. Questing to level up can get repetitive and boring, as can end-game PvP, as can end-game Raiding (ESPECIALLY end game raiding...oh man..) But the game gives you a choice of what to do so you can balance it out and play whichever way you like when you want. Unless youre in a hardcore raiding guild, then, thats your peragative, and your "job".
I highly recommend this game to all gamers, and non-gamers. Theres something for everybody here.
