What do these ratings mean?

X to the extreme.

I’ve never been a final fantasy fan before but I have heard people talk about it. And I never understood, why? When I finally got the game, I started playing it until 12 Am midnight. When I was done with it, I finally understood why people loved the game.

Either way, this game was fantastic. Final fantasy X tells a story, which is about Titus, who lived in Zanarkent. One day, sin attacks Zanarkent and when the city was destroyed, Titus went into the future; taking him 1000 years to the present. By then, he must find a way back to his time, which is 1000 years back. This story is a work of art. It has a wonderful plot and there’s a twist to it. The characters are great, too. Each one has a story to tell. Some of it may be about themselves or some of it may be about the main story. So it’s pretty cool on how you get to know one another. One more thing, this story is pretty long so sit back and hold on tight. The only downfall to it is this, it’s really slow and it may get boring. But it’s still pretty okay. Don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed.

The graphics are a little plain, like if they didn’t even try. But with cheap graphics it makes you feel like you’re playing a computer game. The background of the area is beautiful. There color was well pick and I loved the character’s appearance in the game. When it got to the cut scenes, the graphics gave its true look. Love it!!!!

Battle controls were okay. It was more of a strategy then just pressing the X button, all the time. You would have to pick your characters really well, (along with your best weapons, best armor, and your best magic.) to defeat your enemies. Sometimes they might have a weakness. For an example, if your fighting an ice creature. You would use fire magic to defeat it quickly. So there you go. Sometimes, you could summon aeons. Aeons are spiritual creatures from temples. And believe me, they are much powerful than man. It’s like owning a pokemon, but better. Oh yeah, each character has its own overdrive. Now, these overdrives could cause a lot of damage and if you’re in a tight, that overdrive will save your life. Not only that, you can customize your own weapons and make it into something better. If you get bored of fighting, you could play a sport. This sport is called bitzball. This sport is a combination of football and soccer. The sport is really fantastic and the best part about it, you’re playing underwater. One last thing, you can upgrade your character into a stronger person than he or she was.

In the end, this game is great and it’s very long. Even though, graphics suck and story is a little slow, but storyline is great, battle controls are easy to handle, and bitzball is one hick of a sport. All I got to say is, final fantasy X is a game full of fun and excitement. So yeah, try it out.
