Windows 10 Review for Dummies
By Ivory_Soul

After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

What do these ratings mean?

I haven't completed the game so far; but the Story feels rather Lucas Arts... to explain...

Your main character Vaan is basically a young kid (Skywalker) who is an orphan, raised in Dalmasca (a desert land basically like Tatooine); who with some guidance from an old man with a past he doesn't know about called old Ben... I mean Old Dalan... ends up getting involved with Balthier and Fran, the thieves (see Han Solo and Chewbacca the smugglers) although they made Han Solo a little more sophisticated and Chewbacca was turned into a 7 foot Playboy bunny instead of a 7 foot wookie.

You end up on a mission when the Marquis turns you over to the enemy, to aid the Rebellion to save the captured princess Leia... errr dang... princess Amalia... and make a daring raid and escape from a skyship prison (star destroyer) where you battle the Empires endless armoured soldiers, eventually coming head to head with the next closest thing to Darth Vader... one of the Judges. They did pretty him all up in gold instead of black though... and not to add spoilers but you don't lose your hand and he is not your Father :p

Upon escaping you end up on a quest through the desert, hiding from the empire and evading the Sand People (resembling Jawas with an attitude)... as you continue to gather the power needed to face the Emperor and bring peace back to the Galaxy... ummm Dalmasca...

It keeps going from there, but I think you get the idea...

as I said, I have not completed the game at this point in time; but I'm guessing it involves either a Death Star or the Evil Emperor shooting bolts of lightning at me...

Oh the other problem with this game... how about a proper Gambit for healing... you know, so I don't have to stand there healing for 2 minutes after every single 30 second battle... when not in combat you should not have to have wait times on casting heal or any other spell for that matter. Its truly hard to imagine the tedium without experiencing it for yourself... You want to cast some protective spells like Regen, Shell, and Reflect as well as Heal your party before a big fight... thats going to be about 10 minutes to set up, plus your probably going to want to redesign your gambits, so maybe 15 minutes... was this really necessary for something that used to take a minute max ?
