God of War Member Review for the PS2

This God is no better then Zeus.

Ok, here is a game that has no match in any other platform or any other action game known to man, or god. This has blood, gore, violence, nudity and a badass main character that takes no bull$h!t, not even from the gods themselves.

Kratos is the main good guy, and sometimes bad guy, he has only one main weapon but he knows how to use it. There called the Blades of Chaos, there swords attached to chains, and the chains are stuck to Kratos` forarms. He is as white as a geek in summer time, you will know why later on in the game. He has a red tattoo going down his face and chest, now only a true badass will have that. This guy is mean and just a plain badass at heart. You tough Dante was a badass, you aint seen nothing yet. He knows how to fight. You have a grab move that you can pick for different kind of quick kills, the one that I love the most is ripping a guy in two with your bare hands, and no I am not joking.

During the game you will get alot of mini games if you wanna call it that. By pressing the 0 botton at the right time and fallowing the motion on screen, you can make quick kills that are just fun to look at and do over and over again.

As the story is said Kratos is pissed at the god of war; Ares. Kratos was once the gods chossen man on earth that he send to do his will, Ares is lazy and sends Kratos to do his dirty work while he sits and watches from high above. As Kratos made a pact with Ares he makes a big mistake and now he wants the god dead.

The game brings you on an adventure trough ancient Athens to the underworld. You will fight ancient beasts as the Minotaur, Cyclops, Hydra, Harpies, Wraiths, Undead and much more until you fight the big man himself; Ares.

The blades are not the only weapon you have, you get some magic that you can boost, along with your Blades of Choas.

This game has the best platforming to ever hit the PS2 and it is one of the fastest and hardest games to play at its max difficulty. You have moves that could put Jet Lee to shame in less then one hour of play, the puzzles have you guessing all the way trough and the powers you get just make you look more and more like a badass.

This game rocks, this game rules all others, but it has some problems during game play but you never notice cause you are having so much fun that you don`t care about the problems. The story is the best of its kind, and the cut sences are just beautiful and you will play just to see the next one. Kratos is a hard man but he has a reason for it, and it will shook you when you find out. This game is just awsome and just a blast to play. If you like platforms with action and alot of gore and killing, then pick this up as soon as you can, its worth all the money you spend.

I say this is the best game of all time. This is a classic of are generation.
