What do these ratings mean?

San andreas is the best GTA out yet without a doubt, It has so much to offer to the GTA fans. With the new GTA scheduled for PS2 soon it will be very hard to beat San Andreas.
The presentation of san andreas is very good, Although the downside of the game is the loading, but its not got limtied options, with the ability to 'still' see how many people you've wasted, how many times you've been wasted, most listened to radio station and so on, you cant put that to fault.
The graphics are the best part, detail is very good for a PS2 game, the buildings, interiors and backgrounds all have superb detail. Also CJ looks neat with the new features of being able to control your body mass, With skinny being the best, also the other options to control are your sex appeal, muscle, lung capacity and car skill and bike skill and also respect. With when the physical sides of CJ changes it has very good affect on the look, e.g. When fat meter is full, CJ will look bigger than he would if skinny.
The 'sea' looks as good as ever, and now the ability to swim and the new lung capacity meter which adds to realism of the game.
Move onto the interiors of the buildings, Once again there also very sharp and neat, Not much to fault. The 'New' addition of casinos is also very good and theres also a gambling meter to follow as you bet, but be careful to not get in debt. The buyable houses are good with mini games in some houses including space invaders and a couple have basketball courts in/outside.. Which lets you play basketbakll.
The sound is 'in my opinion' Better than vice city, But not much to say about the music, you either love it or hate it. 1980's :)
The gameplay is very good.. With improved guns but the cars i think have been down graded in style wise from the last GTA series. You now hav the challenge to earn passports to the city airports, and when you get one you can have free access into an airport and fly a variety of planes. The plane control isnt to hard to take over and get use to, its like the vice city plane. The boats in San andreas have a wider range but no difference to the reality of them.. The police (Oh no!) They have changed in terms of cars and uniforms but havnt changed there 'stupidness' lets say.. I dont like the police in san andreas for a few main reasons. One of them being, unlike in vice city when if they were chasing someone and you punched them you get a civilian bonus but now they just leave the person they were chasing and come after you.
The civilians look abit more real although in terms of there clothes its more faule, e.g. has some elvis's walking around the street.
The weather conditons are good and there more realistic than it was in cive city.. In terms of cars on the road and making spalshed when driving over it and running.
The Lasting appeal of this game is very good, with the new additions and options to play around with are a brilliant improvement from vice city. The missions are longer and probally more missions to get through, and maybe even more challenging than vice city. With 3 Islands to unlock and cars and weapons to buy and respect to earn.. Its for sure you will be playing this game for a long time, also you'll keep coming back to it on occasions because its a very addictive game to play and hard to put down the controller.
If you liked Vice City you are sure to love san andreas.. It will keep you going on the PS2 for a long time...
