the .hack series has always been a favorite of mine, ever since i lost the disk and started playing better games. Oh wait...
Well, anyway, i borrowed this game from a friend who was ready to throw it in the trash, and played for nearly 45 minutes. I think this qualifies me to write a review of the game.
The game sucks.
The graphics are comparable to that of PS1 games (Bad ps1 games). The story is confusing and convoluted, and the controls are fair at best. But on the upside, the concept is kinda cool (See: same as the other two), and..well... the disk is shiny?
If you loved the first and second .hack games, then perhaps you can stomach this one. But i likened the experience to playing Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind on the xbox: boring, confusing, and hideous to look at. (Much like my ex-wife!!! Sorry, that seemed like an appropriate line... wow reading it now it's a terrible joke... why am i even explaining it??? Why don't i just delete it??? Sigh...)
Anyway, overall i'd give this game my SEAL OF FAILURE.
Oh and for the record i'm gonna go with an official score of... 34/100. F.
