A new set of standards for the platform genre

Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy really raises the bar for the entire platform genre. This is no typical platform game, like Crash Bandicoot. No, this time Naughty Dog have taken the charm and energy from the Crash-series and created a world unlike any other. We are no longer bound by the linier gameplay from the Crash-series we are almost completely free to roam around world Naughty Dog has created for us.

The world in Jak & Daxter consists of a lot of different areas, none of them restricted by loading time. There is no loading time in this game what so ever. This is very incredible considering that the game has a really nice graphics engine and the power of the ps2.

The characters are all a little cartoon-like and all have their own unique charm. This gives the game a really positive atmosphere. That, along with humor of the game, makes it at game you can play again and again.
