What do these ratings mean?

I've waited a long time for this game and it's well worth the wait. This game takes places right after Tekken 4 where Heihachi and Kazuya are still in that dojo place. I won't spoil the rest for you for those of you who haven't played this yet. Their's 5 new characters: Asuka, Feng, Raven, Devil Jin and Jinpachi. Asuka sort of resembles Jun but she is more improved. Feng is a totally new original character. Raven is also a new original character. Devil Jin is pretty much like Jin from Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament with added lasers and a couple other new moves. Jinpachi is the final boss in this game and he's unplayable (Unless you have a Codebreaker). He resembles the other Mishimas a little bit but much cheaper.

Gameplay: It's like the previous Tekkens only much more approved. You pick your character that has it's own unique moves and you fight another character. The gameplay is faster and your moves seem to hit your opponent harder than before. Characters get some newly added moves like they do in ever other Tekken. You'll be surprised at how challenging Jinpachi (The last boss) can be. The "switch position" move from Tekken 4 has been removed and replaced with a throw like how it was before. All characters have 10 hit combos now unlike the previous Tekken with a few character didn't have any. Even characters like Roger Jr. and Marduk has 1 or 2 of them.

Graphics: Wow it's easily the best looking game on the PS2 that I've seen. This game can compete with some XBox games even when it comes to graphics. The graphics will blow you away. Also duo to the graphics being better girls like Christie and Ling are hotter now. Even Anna is starting to look a little attractive now. I just can't imagine how Tekken 6 will look like. The graphics in this game makes this the best Tekken alone.

Sound: Good sound FX and decent voices. This game has the best sound track than in any Tekken game. Their's only about 1 song I didn't like on here. Moonlight Wilderness is my favorite song in this game. And let's not forget the song in Sacred Garden. Now I like that one a lot too. Sometimes I like to headbang to it.

Value: This game has way more replay value than the previous Tekkens. One of the main reasons is that their's a character costumizing features. Another reason is that you can give your characters higher rankings until they reach to Tekken Lord. The higher ranking the the CPU the harder the AI gets so be sure to practice and get good with your character. Not only that but they included the Arcade versions of the first 3 Tekken games. Tekken 1 and Tekken 2 might be a bit unplayable (Slow gameplay is main reason) now but Tekken 3 (Remember since it's arcade version you can't choose Gon or Dr. Broskonovich) is still fun. So it's nice to go back for nostalgia. But let's forget the Devil Within game that's kind of a replacement for Tekken Force but you can only use Jin on that game. So their's plenty of reasons to keep coming back to this game

Overall: Tekken fans you know you need this game. It's by far the best Tekken yet. Even if your a fighting game fan in general this game is still worth buying. Even people who are not fans of fighting games at all can atleast rent this game. Remember it also includes the Arcade versions of The first three Tekken games along with Devil Within and Star Blade (It's an unlockable). That's basically 6 games in one if you count Tekken 5 itself. So buy it today.
