What do these ratings mean?

this is the first game i played out of the sims series and by goodness these games are very addictive-of course i like to experiment with my sim, like how long my sim would survive without  interaction or food, but after figuring all that out the sim you create is pretty simple to take care of. it also gives you real-life situations to deal with like marriage and job searching, but it's all in good fun. at least i have fun while playing this game unlike some of the games out there.
