ok so i have a few things to say about this game..... first off ive owned and played the CRAP out of every GT in the series. the wait was beyond ridiculous and as much as i love this game (and i am obsessed with it, i just bought a 750$ playseat evolution w logitech gt27 steering wheel just for this game) im still quite dissapointed with it. it has by far the greatest handling physics of any game ive ever played and well that really is the point, but the standard cars having gt4 graphics is pretty gay, and the graphics in general are beautiful but they missed some key details..... did no one else notice the HUGE pixels in the shadows and dust clouds? it looks so horrible. also some of the prices of the cars piss me off. some off the cars are in the millions and u need them for one race.... ok so i have to repeat and repeat and repeat races all day to buy one car and use it for one race..... a bit ridiculous but w/e theyve always done that. lastly whats w this driver level crap.... the whole point of GT is its like life... u race, make money, buy cars and parts, and go race.... if u start the game today and u wanna play 5k$ races all day for a week and buy a f1 car u could before ...not that i would... but u could..... and why not?...now u have to beat enough races and special events to get the appropriate driver level to even buy the car.... this driver level crap is a step in the arcade direction ...it forces things in succession instead of the freedom to do it now .... and in this game it seems weird u dont have to complete the licenses....? idk.... i love the graphics for the most part, i love the physics and i love the better selection of cars (ie. adding ferrari and lambo :-D) and the online used car dealership is pretty cool too .... but i just have those few gripes listed above.... and just in general even though i love the game its been 6 yrs since they debut of gt4.... this game doesnt have 6 yrs of difference..... its alot the same.... i loved gt4 so i guess thats fine but after 6 yrs (alot of which was releases delays) i expected to really be wowed with something unbelievable... this isnt ...its exactly what i expected it to be... its awesome but being what it is i expected it a couple yrs ago....

also something i forgot to add... i love that it has 1k cars, but i would have preferred that instead of having 600 of those being crap cars like the demio they could have cut down the list and made all the cars have interior views and gorgeous exterior models... it would have made me much happier. yea i guess its cool that u can buy ur real life car and fix it up but that novelty is over in 10 min. once u race a ferrari or some other high end car of the like driving the little crap cars gets boring and annoying and almost painful at times... seems pointless to spend so much time on these cars and not finish major things like the graphics on the rest of the cars and the pixeled shadows and dust clouds.... fix those and do away w the demio... and other cars of the like.... we dont need so many crap cars i wont miss them... i purchased exactly what i needed to progress and immediately sold them for better cars......i now have a an array of nicer more high-end cars that i intend to keep

oh and one other thing....why does it fluctuate the hp number from one screen to another?.....THAT IS SOOO ANNOYING.. been doin that since gt3... tell me does it have 590, 596 or 600 hp?!? TELL ME I WANNA KNOW WHICH ONE!! lol.... ok so i know i sound like a hater and all in all im really not... i really love this game, and i really have spent countless hours playing it but i guess the whole thing is when u played all the GTs and ur soo into racing and GT4 is amazing and then GT5 is said to blow ur mind and make all other racing games seem like crap and you wait years for them to refine it.... u become jaded by all the hype and expect perfection and seem to think the game is being downloaded from the heavens to your tv screen... and so when its just an updated GT4, amazing as it may be, it just disappointed me... can u blame me? i expected kinks like the pixels in the shadows and the dust clouds to be worked out.... so why arent they? what did they actually do for all those yrs?
