What do these ratings mean?

Critics say that Rockstar's GTA4 has set the standards for next-gen-RPG-3rd person-Free Roam... well others are getting pretty close. And InFamous is as close as it gets.

Sucker Punch nailed it! My friends make fun of me cuz I bought a PS3 rather than a 360 which they all have. Well now its pay back. Those guys come to my place very often now just to play InFamous! Owning a PS3 never felt so good!!!

I won't bore you with the plot and all. I'll get straight to the point. Its a 3rd person Free Roam RPG game just like GTA. Well, except you can't drive cars cuz, as told in the game, they blow up whenever you get in it. But screw that! You won't want to take the car! You got super powers like gliding in air, skating wires and rails, and climbing buildings like spiderman! I've never had so much fun travelling around the game world on my feet! (And hands)

Its like GTA, except, you don't use guns... BUT... wait for it... you have super electric powers! Thats right! Who needs a gun when you can zap a guy in more than 5 ways! Electric Granades, shock waves, and my fav, Lighting storm barrage! (Okay so they don't call it like that in the game, but I do!) and all sorts of things you wish you could do in real life!

Also, another element of the game which gives it an interesting twist, is the moral decisions you make. Your outlook and kinds of powers will depend on the good, or bad things you do in the city. Save people? Or blow them all to bits? You choose. Main and side missions are just so much fun to do, even when its repetetive! Its challenging, and lots of fun when you have an arsenal of super powers at the push of a button!

Of course, the down side of it all (Like every other game out there) is that once in a while, you'll get that "WTF?" moments. Cars respawning in front of your eyes, game world loading up late. You and NPCs get stuck in a corner and can't move... all those usual stuff. But they don't come in often. Once in like... every 5 hours, you'll get the WFT? moments, so its all too forgivable.

As a final note, this game makes me feel proud of getting a PS3. Its an exclusive, and I'm loving it. If you like Prince of Persia, GTA, Starwars, Spiderman, and own a PS3, then you owe it to yourself to get this game. I would bet my children and my children's children that you will love it.

Peace out
